Privacy Notice for Applicants, Employees, Contractors, and Emergency Contacts

This Notice is directed to Job Applicants, Employees, Contractors (“employee” or “you”), and their Emergency Contacts, if any (“Privacy Notice”). It does not apply to personal information publicly available information or information outside of the legal disclosure obligations. In certain cases, not all of this Privacy Notice shall apply or be relevant in your case and is provided for ensuring comprehensive disclosure. For purposes of this Privacy Notice, “P&P Imports”, “P&P” “the Company” “we”, and “us” refers to P&P Imports LLC.
This Privacy Notice pertains to personal information we collect or may have collected in the last twelve (12) months.
Personal Information Collected
P&P collects information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household (“personal information” or “PI”). Personal information that reveals an employee’s social security, driver’s license, state identification card, or passport number; an employee’s account login, or corporate credit card number in combination with any required security or access code, password, or credentials allowing access to an account; an employee’s precise geolocation; an employee’s racial or ethnic origin or religious or philosophical beliefs; the contents of an employee’s mail, email and text messages that are sent or received using applications or equipment owned or controlled by us, unless we are the intended recipient of the communication; the processing of biometric information for the purpose of uniquely identifying an individual. Some personal information included in this category may overlap with other categories.
Sensitive (“Sensitive”)
Age (40 years and older), race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, religion or creed, marital status, medical condition, physical or mental disability, sex (including gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, or childbirth and related medical conditions), sexual orientation, and veteran or military status.
Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law (“Characteristics”)
Records of personal property, products, or services purchased, obtained, or considered.
Commercial information (“Commercial”)
Physiological, biological, or behavioral characteristics, such as fingerprints.
Biometric Information (“Biometric”)
Browsing history, search history, and information regarding a consumer’s interaction with an internet website, application, or advertisement.
Internet or other electronic network activity information (“Internet Activity”)
Physical location and/or movements.
Geolocation data (“Geolocation”)
Audio, electronic, visual, or similar information.
Sensory data (“Sensory”)
Current and/or past employment history, professional licenses, or affiliations. Education records for maintaining continuing education requirements.
Professional or employment-related information (“Professional”)
Education records, files, documents, and other materials directly related to a student maintained by an educational agency or institution or by a person acting for such an agency or institution, such as grades, transcripts, class lists, student schedules, student identification codes, student financial information, or student disciplinary records
Non-public education information (as defined in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. § 1232g, 34 C.F.R. Part 99)) (“Education”)
Information used to create a profile about an employee reflecting the employee’s preferences, characteristics, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, abilities, and aptitudes.
Inferences drawn from other personal information (“Inferences”).

You should be aware, however, that California law allows us to retain your personal information under certain conditions, even if you have asked us to delete it. We, therefore, may deny your deletion request if, for example, retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s), including, but not limited to, for any of the following reasons:
1. to complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you;

Only you, or your authorized agent, may make a request related to your personal information. You also may make a request on behalf of your minor child.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot (i) verify your identity or authority to make the request, and (ii) confirm the personal information relates to you. To make a verifiable request, you must:
1. provide sufficient information to allow us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or that you are the person authorized to make the request. If you are an authorized agent, you also will be required to provide proof that you are authorized to make the request, such as by providing a copy of the written permission from the person on whose behalf you are making the request; and

We will only use personal information you provide to verify your identity or authority to make the request. Making a verifiable request does not require you to create an account with us.
